About Us
Island Music is in our 22nd year of providing top quality gear, service and value to Space Coast musicians. Owner Sam Tritico is a former Nashville touring and session musician and songwriter. His store, Sam's Music, was Tennessee's #1 music store in the 80s & 90s. Since moving to Merritt Island in 2003, Sam continues to perform, record, repair and sell guitars, pro-audio and other musical equipment. With a dedicated staff of trained professionals, all of whom are musicians, our goal is to bring the highest level of service possible to the local music community. Original music is especially important to us, and we host dozens of songwriter events annually. Over 800 songwriters have performed at our Writers Night series at Nolan's Irish Pub, and 200+ have recorded at our studio!
STUDIO UPDATE: The studio has recently been remodeled and is booking sessions again! Island Recorders is a full-featured music production studio with a great selection of vintage guitars as well as keyboards, drums and percussion.
Our space includes a control room and two isolated live rooms. One of the live rooms also contains an actively maintained Young Chang grand piano.
